An extracurricular activity is an activity offered to students, that falls outside the realm of the normal curriculum. Although approved by the school, the activities are voluntary (as opposed to mandatory) and usually do not carry academic credit.
At Bomaderry High School, we offer the following extra-curricular activities:
Asia literacy
Bomaderry High School has worked in partnership with the teachers of Kangaroo Valley, Cambewarra, Shoalhaven Heads, Bomaderry and Berry public schools, in developing an engaging program to study Asia.
Bomaderry High School provides students with the opportunity to learn beyond the classroom, connect school based learning with the wider world and challenge themselves for growth and development.
Performing arts consists of dance, drama and music. Students are encouraged to be involved in the many co-curricular and extra-curricular opportunities available to them and to foster their talents.
Bomaderry High School has a proud tradition of sporting excellence in a variety of individual and team sports. Students have the opportunity to participate in local, Regional, State and National comps
Student leadership helps young people have a real impact on their learning and school environment and prepares them to participate meaningfully in their community.
