Crime Story - Interactive Careers Incursion

Students will participate in an interactive, hands-on forensic investigation experience delivered onsite at school. Led by a former detective and current NESA-accredited teacher, the Crime Story workshop immerses students in two full-scale mock crime scenes where they will analyse evidence, explore forensic techniques such as fingerprinting, DNA swabbing, and blood splatter analysis, and engage in critical thinking and problem-solving. The program is designed to support curriculum outcomes in Legal Studies, English (Craft of Writing), and general learning by encouraging collaboration, creativity, and communication. Students will also have the opportunity to enter a $500 Crime Story Writing Competition.
Participants: Mixed group of students from Year 10-12
